Mary Elizabeth Beal 
Mary Elizabeth was born in 1852 in Of, Hawkins, Tennessee. Mary Elizabeth's father was Elias Beal and her mother was Nancy E. Boothe. Her paternal grandparents were John Beal and Mary Elizabeth Bertram; her maternal grandfather was Booth. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Newton Thompson, Joseph Johnson, James Hamilton, Martha Ellen and Capitola Leonora. She was the second youngest of the six children. She died at the age of 73 in 1925.-
