Ruffin Barrow 
Ruffin was born on May 9th, 1775 in , Halifax, North Carolina. Ruffin's father was William Barrow and his mother was Olivia Ruffin. His paternal grandfather was William Barrow; his maternal grandparents were Robert Ruffin and Anne Bennett. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Robert, William, Bartholomew, Bennett, Ann, Mary and Sarah. He was the second youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 24 in 1799 in , Sumner, Tennessee.-
