Bartholomew Barrow 
Bartholomew was born on October 16th, 1766 in , Halifax, North Carolina. Bartholomew's father was William Barrow and his mother was Olivia Ruffin. His paternal grandfather was William Barrow; his maternal grandparents were Robert Ruffin and Anne Bennett. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Robert, William, Ruffin, Bennett, Ann, Mary and Sarah. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 85 on February 15th, 1852 in , , Louisiana.-
