Amanda Allen 
Amanda was born in 1829 in , Bourbon, Kentucky. Amanda's father was Adoniram Allen and her mother was Mary Or Polly Cail. Her paternal grandfather was Allen; her maternal grandfather was Jacob Cail. She had four brothers and two sisters, named James N., John, Adniram, William, Louisa and Elizabeth. She was the third oldest of the seven children.
