Benjamin was born on September 26th, 1678 in Perquimans Co., NC . Benjamin 's father was Christopher NICHOLSON and his mother was Hannah REDKNAP. His paternal grandparents were Edmund NICHOLSON and Elizabeth SIMSON. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Samuel, Joseph, John , Nathaniel , Deliverance, Hannah and Jane (Jean /Jeane). He was the youngest of the eight children. He had two half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Christopher , Thomas , Elizabeth, Sarah Philura, Ann and Ann .General Notes
