Phillip was born about 1840 in Marion Co., TN . Phillip 's father was James Henry COFFELT and his mother was Agnes UNKNOWN. His paternal grandparents were Daniel COFFELT and Gertrude SHRIDER . He had four brothers and five sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Daniel , James Henry, Francis M. , Willson, Charlotta Mary "Lottie" , Mary "Polly" Ann , Susan , Clarissa "Clarisy ", Sylvania "Lavina" and Infant . He was the second youngest of the eleven children. He died in 1850 in Marion Co., TN .General Notes
