Rachel 's father was Roland "Rolly" Thomas BLAND and her mother was Delsey SHEKKLESWORTH. Her paternal grandparents were John BLAND and RACHEL LOUCKS. She had five brothers and five sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named John , Allen, Samuel, Green , William , Susan , Jane, Melinda , Julia , Fanny and Purdey . She had a half-brother named Thomas Roland .-
