Roland "Rolly" Thomas was born about 1763 in Prince William Co., VA. Roland "Rolly" Thomas' father was John BLAND and his mother was RACHEL LOUCKS. His paternal grandparents were John BLAND and Prudence UNKNOWN. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Charles , Samuel , Rachael , Prudence and Susannah. He was the oldest of the six children. He died on June 25th, 1825 in Washington Co., KY .General Notes

According to the 609 page book titled: "A Vision of Unity" by Charles L. Bland the 2nd son of Rolly (Roland) Bland of Virginia and his wife Rachael (?) was a son named Roland or Rolly Bland who married Delsey Sheklesworth in 1799 and Sarah Thomas in 1824. Rolly and Delsey had 11 children.
