Josias Phelps

Josias was born on December 16th, 1667 in Poquonock, CT. Josias' father was Samuel Phelps and his mother was Sarah Griswold. His paternal grandparents were William Phelps and Mary Unknown; his maternal grandparents were Edward Griswold and Margaret Unknown. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Samuel, Timothy, William, John, Ephraim, Sarah, Mary and Abigail. He was the youngest of the nine children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Nathaniel and Sarah.
