Esmond Raymond was born on May 17th, 1901 in Athens twp, Harrison Co, Ohio. Esmond Raymond's father was Franklin S. (Frank) Hennis and her mother was Jessie Frances Peregoy. Her paternal grandparents were Samuel Hennis and Matilda Swallow; her maternal grandparents were John Peregoy and Martha Webb. She had a brother and a sister, named Clarence and Dorothy.General Notes
Like her sister, was a school teacher in Cadiz, Ohio.
