John Johannes Duchman 
John Johannes was born in 1758 in Lancaster, PA. John Johannes 's father was Johann Christian Duchman and his mother was Anna Maria Hauser. His paternal grandparents were Johan Adam Duchmann and Maria Magdalena Steiner; his maternal grandparents were Johann (Hans) Jacob Hauser and Anna Margaretha Gass. He had four brothers and five sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Johann Deterick, Johannes Michael, Joseph, Christian (Christopher), Eva Maria, Anna Christina, Anna Magaretha, Maria Elizabeth, Christine and Johan George. He was the fourth youngest of the eleven children. He died about 1807.General Notes
Moved from PA to Bedford Co, VA. around 1790. Moved from there to Greenbrier Co, VA. Also listed as Dughman and Touchman, - assumed to be John Toffman or Tooghman of Greenbrier Co, according to tax lists for 1803 to 1807 also John Toothman with a land grant of 125 acres near Mellon's creek in 1798.
