Samuel Dorsey

Samuel was born in March 1712.  Samuel's father was Caleb Dorsey and his mother was Eleanor Warfield.  His maternal grandparents were Richard Warfield and Eleanor Brown. He had five brothers and two sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Basil, John Ely, Caleb, Richard, Thomas Beal, Sophia, Deborah and Achasah.  He was the fourth youngest of the nine children.
