Basil Dorsey

Basil was born on July 25th, 1705 in Anne Arundel Co, MD.  Basil's father was Caleb Dorsey and his mother was Eleanor Warfield.  His maternal grandparents were Richard Warfield and Eleanor Brown. He had five brothers and two sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named John Ely, Caleb, Samuel, Richard, Thomas Beal, Sophia, Deborah and Achasah.  He was the second oldest of the nine children.
