Raiford Bell Whitten 
Raiford Bell was born on January 27th, 1854 in , Randolph Co., Alabama.1 Raiford Bell's father was Alfred Carnes Whitten and his mother was Sarah Frances Kenneda. His paternal grandparents were Lindsey Whitten and Margaret Kenneda\Kennedy. He had two brothers and a sister, named Robert Weir Johnson, John William and Sarah Ann Frances. He was the oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 75 in 1929 in , Troup Co., Georgia. He was buried in 1929 in Roanoke, Randolph Co., Georgia, City Cemetery.1 1 -
