1 Rebecca Plater's father was John Tayloe and her mother was Rebecca Plater. Her paternal grandparents were John Tayloe and Elizabeth Gwynn; her maternal grandparents were George Plater and Rebecca Tasker Addison. She had a brother and eight sisters, named John, Ann Corbin, Mary, Eleanor, Mary, Catherine Griffin, Sarah, Jane and Elizabeth Gwynn. She died on January 7th, 1797.1 General Notes
