Catherine Griffin Tayloe 
Catherine Griffin was born on October 10th, 1761.1 Catherine Griffin's father was John Tayloe and her mother was Rebecca Plater. Her paternal grandparents were John Tayloe and Elizabeth Gwynn; her maternal grandparents were George Plater and Rebecca Tasker Addison. She had a brother and eight sisters, named John, Ann Corbin, Mary, Eleanor, Mary, Sarah, Jane, Rebecca Plater and Elizabeth Gwynn. She died at the age of 37 on December 22nd, 1798.1 General Notes
