Her paternal grandparents were Guillaume IV Taillefer Ct de Angoulême and Marguerite de Turrenne; her maternal grandparents were Pierre Capet de France de Courtenay and Isabelle (Elizabeth) de Courtenay. She was an only child. She died at the age of 58 on May 31st, 1246 in Fontevrault L'Abbe, Maine-et-Loire, France.
