Clara Myrl was born on July 22nd, 1918 in Roxton, Lamar County, Texas.1 Clara Myrl's father was Willie Lee Tabor and her mother was Annie Adiline Branum. Her paternal grandparents were Levi T Tabor and Mary R Moore; her maternal grandparents were Lewis B Branum and Margaret A Perkins. She had a sister named Dorothy Mae. She was the younger of the two children. She died at the age of 80 on June 6th, 1999 in McCuiston Regional Med Center, Lamar County, Texas. She was buried on June 8th, 1999 in Restland Cemetery, Roxton, Lamar County, Texas.1 1 General Notes

THE PARIS NEWS, Monday, June 7, 1999, page 4B: 'Clara Myrl Rhoades, 80,
of Roxton, died Sunday, June 6, 1999, at McCuistion Regional Medical
C enter. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Fry-Gibbs Funeral
Home C hapel, with the Rev. Danny Robins officiating. Burial will be in
Restland Cem etery in Roxton. The family will receive friends 7-8 p.m.
Monday at the funer al home. She was born July 22, 1918, in Roxton, a
daughter of W. L. and Annie Branum Tabor. She married [G.] Harold Rhoades
May 27, 1940, in Brookston. He died Nov. 30, 1992. She was a homemaker
and a member of First Baptist Church in Roxton. Survivors include five
daughters, Georgia Martin and husband Ben of Garland, Nina Rhoades, Betty
Hutchings and husband Mac, Elizabeth Basham a nd husband Billy, Mary
Walker and husband James, all of Paris; seven grandchi ldren, Mia Lollar,
Paul Fields, Jacqualyn Dulaney, Harold Martin, Brent Basha m, Cristi
Alsup, Jennifer Walker and seven great-grandchildren. She was prece ded in
death by her husband, Harold, a daughter, Paula Fields and a brother a nd
sister. Pallbearers will be Harold Martin, Paul Fields, Brent Basham,
Ju stin Lollar, Terry Lollar, Terry Dulaney and Ben Alsup. Memorials can
be made to First Baptist Church in Roxton.' *Tombstone is inscribed,
'Myrl Tabor Rho ades.'
