Clarinda was born on June 19th, 1824 in , Arkansas?.1 Clarinda's father was James Pevehouse and her mother was Mary (Polly) Hodge. Her paternal grandparents were Jacob Pevehouse and Rachel Kellums; her maternal grandparents were Alexander Hodge and Ruth Hodge. She had five brothers and a sister, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Alexander, John, Squire, Travis, William, Mary Jane and Aylsey. She died at the age of 73 on April 14th, 1898 in McKinney, Texas. She was buried in Coleman, Texas.1 1 -
