Uriah Dickins 
Uriah was born about 1802 in Chatham County, North Carolina.1 Uriah's father was Thomas Dickins and his mother was Mollie Stevens. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Dickins and Elizabeth ?; his maternal grandparents were Uriah Stevens and Manessa ?. He had eight brothers and a sister, named Lunsford, Merritt, Thomas, Gideon, Lewis, Richard, Nehemiah, Joseph and Manassa Naomi. He was the fifth youngest of the ten children. He died about 1875 in Boone County, Arkansas.1 General Notes
