Joseph Dickins 
Joseph was born about 1808 in North Carolina.1 Joseph's father was Thomas Dickins and his mother was Mollie Stevens. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Dickins and Elizabeth ?; his maternal grandparents were Uriah Stevens and Manessa ?. He had eight brothers and a sister, named Lunsford, Merritt, Thomas, Gideon, Lewis, Uriah, Richard, Nehemiah and Manassa Naomi. He was the second youngest of the ten children. He died about 1875 in North Carolina.1 General Notes
