Martha Elizabeth Crawford 
Martha Elizabeth was born on January 18th, 1830 in Autauga, Elmore, Alabama.1 Martha Elizabeth's father was Benjamin Hardy Crawford and her mother was Nancy Melissa Lewis. Her maternal grandparents were John Lewis and Mary Kendrick. She had seven brothers and a sister, named Thomas Greer, William Hinton, John Lewis, Joseph Henry, Francis Marion, Benjamin Harrison, George Mc Intosh and Mary Kendrick. She was the third oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 65 on August 30th, 1895 in Elmore, Alabama.1 General Notes
