Francis Marion Crawford 
Francis Marion was born on October 19th, 1838 in Autauga, Alabama.1 Francis Marion's father was Benjamin Hardy Crawford and his mother was Nancy Melissa Lewis. His maternal grandparents were John Lewis and Mary Kendrick. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Thomas Greer, William Hinton, John Lewis, Joseph Henry, Benjamin Harrison, George Mc Intosh, Martha Elizabeth and Mary Kendrick. He was the fourth youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 24 on November 4th, 1862.1 General Notes
