William Harrison Read 
William Harrison was born in 1814. William Harrison's father was Capt. John Nash Read and his mother was Mary Barksdale. His paternal grandparents were Colonel Clement, Jr. Read and Mary Nash; his maternal grandparents were Nathaniel Barksdale and Anne Garden. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Edmund Randolph, Peter Finis Armistead, Nathaniel Barksdale, Martha Newell, Mary Sydnor, Nancy Garden, Sarah Wimbish Garden, Susan Katherine and Anne Elizabeth Margaret. He had seven half-brothers and seven half-sisters, named Dr. Clement Nash, Dr. John Harris "Jack", Major Sion Spencer, Martin James, Dr. Thomas Hill, James Allen, Francis Nash, Mary Harris 'Polly", Harriet James, Mary Hill "Polly", Elizabeth Fanny, Lucia Flournoy, Harry Ann and Elizabeth Julia. He died before October 3rd, 1834 in Rutherford Co., Tennessee.-
