Henry was born on May 15th, 1683 in Caroline Co., VA. Henry's father was Phillip Pendleton and his mother was Isabella Hurt. His paternal grandparents were Henry Pendleton and Elizabeth Douglas; his maternal grandparents were William Hurt and Margaret Lnu. He had six brothers and five sisters, named Edmond, James, John, Joseph, Phillip, William, Mary, Elizabeth, Isabelle, Catherine and Rachel.-
