Richard Meriwether 
Richard was born on September 20th, 1819.1 Richard's father was Richard Meriwether and his mother was Elizabeth Thornton. His maternal grandparents were Charles Thornton(NGarden) and Sarah Anne Fitzhugh(Bellair). He had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named Thornton, George W., Anthony and Elizabeth.1 General Notes
