Sarah was born on November 23rd, 1765. Sarah's father was Samuel Jacob and her mother was Bethiah Olley. Her paternal grandparents were Richard, Sr. Jacob and Hannah Howard; her maternal grandparents were Sebastian Olley and Elizabeth Hall. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Joseph, Samuel, Hannah, Ann, Elizabeth and Susannah. She had a half-brother named Shadrick.-
