John Venable Hughes 
John Venable was born on October 17th, 1858. John Venable's father was Frederick Edward Hughes and his mother was Mary Elizabeth Venable. His maternal grandparents were Paul Carrington Venable and Emily Eaton Carrington. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Paul Venable, George Venable, Frederick Venable, Louisa H. and Mary Belle. He was the third youngest of the six children.-
