James De Berkeley 
James was born about 1279. James' father was Thomas "The Wise", 1st Lord De Berkeley and his mother was Jane Joan De Ferrers. His paternal grandparents were Maurice "The Resolute" De Berkeley and Isabella De Chiham; his maternal grandparents were Sir William, 7th Earl of Derby Ferrers and Margaret De Quicy. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Maurice, 2d Lord, John, Thomas, Alice, Margaret and Isabel. He was the third youngest of the seven children. He died on June 28th, 1327.-
