Samuel Chipman 
Samuel was born on April 15th, 1661 in Barnstable, Massachussetts. Samuel's father was John Chipman and his mother was Hope Howland. His maternal grandparents were John Howland and Elizabeth Tilley. He had two brothers and nine sisters, named John, John, Elizabeth, Infant girl, Hope, Lydia, Ruth, Bethiah, Hannah, Desire and Mercy. He died about June 17th, 1723 in West Barnstable, Massachussetts.-
