Colonel Lawson Botts 
Colonel Lawson's father was Thomas Hutchinson Botts and his mother was Ann Willis. His paternal grandparents were Benjamin Botts and Jane Tyler. He had four half-brothers and a half-sister, named Albert, Benjamin, Henry, William and Mary Berkeley. He died in Battle of Bull Run.General Notes

Forced into the command of a regiment of Confederate soldiers against his
will, and was killed at Bull Run, declaring himself a unionist.
