Wilma Catherine was born on December 21st, 1925 in Sharpsville, Tipton County, Indiana. Wilma Catherine's father was Charles Leroy Byfield and her mother was Wilma Mae Horton. Her paternal grandparents were Lewis Scott Byfield and Iva A. Barnes; her maternal grandparents were William Anthony Horton and Maude Ellen Collins. She had a brother and two sisters, named Living, Living and Living. She died at the age of 69 on January 7th, 1995 in Columbia City, Whitley County, Indiana. She was buried in January 1995 in Nolt Cemetery, Columbia City, Whitley County, Indiana.General Notes

"GIVES RECITAL
Miss Wilma C. Byfield, a student at Arthur Jordan Conservatory in Indianapolis, gave a recital at Camp Atterbury Thursday evening of last week. In the afternoon of the same day she entertained the soldiers by playing request numbers. Miss Byfield is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Byfield."
