Suzanne was born in 1166 in of England.1 Suzanne's father was Hamelin Plantagenet de Anjou Earl of Surrey and her mother was Isabel de Warenne. Her paternal grandparents were Geoffrey IV the Fair Angevin King of England and Mathilda (Adelaide) Queen of England; her maternal grandparents were William de Warenne III Earl of Warren & Surrey and Ala Talvas. She had a brother and two sisters, named William Plantagenet, Ida (Isabel) and Maud. She was the second youngest of the four children.General Notes
