William de Warenne III Earl of Warren & Surrey

William de Warenne III was born in 1118 in Vermandois, Normandy, France.¹ William de Warenne III's father was William de Warenne II Earl of Warren & Surrey and his mother was Isabella Capet de Crépi. His paternal grandparents were William de Warenne I Earl of Surrey and Gundrada de St. Omer; his maternal grandparents were Hugh Capet Magnus de Crépi Duc de Burgundy and Adelar de Vermandois Cts de Vermandois. He had two sisters named Gundred and Adelaide (Ada). He was the second oldest of the three children. He had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Robert "Bossu" de Beaumont, Waleran de Beaumont de, Isabel and Isabel (Elizabeth). He died at the age of 30 in 1148 in Laodicea.¹
