Berengaria de León was born in 1193 in León, Spain.1 Berengaria de León's father was Alphonso IX the Slobberer de León King of León and her mother was Agnes de Mendoza. Her paternal grandparents were Ferdinand II de León King of León and Urraca Alfonsez de Portugal Cts de Portugal. She had a sister named Urraca Alfonsez. She was the younger of the two children. She had two half-brothers named St. Ferdinand III and Alfonse de Molina. She died at the age of 44 on April 12th, 1237.1 -
