Joan de Beaufort 
Joan was born about 1379 in Chateau de Beaufort, Maine-et-Loire, France.1 Joan's father was John Plantagenet and her mother was Katherine de Roet. Her paternal grandparents were Edward III Plantagenet and Philippe de Hainault; her maternal grandparents were Payne de Roet and Unknown. She had three brothers named John de Beaufort, Henry and Thomas. She had four half-brothers and five half-sisters, named John, Edward, Henry IV, John, Philippa, Isabel, Elizabeth, Katherine de Lancaster and Blanche. She died on November 13th, 1440 in Howden, Yorkshire, England.1 -
