John West

John was born in 1634 in Newport, Newport, RI.¹   John's father was Matthew West and his mother was Unknown.  His paternal grandparents were Thomas West and Elizabeth Sankey. He had five brothers and a sister, named Robert, Nathaniel, Bartholomew, Francis, Francis and Joan.  He was the second youngest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 57 in 1691.¹
