Bartholomew West

Bartholomew was born in 1627 in Portsmouth, Newport, RI.¹   Bartholomew's father was Matthew West and his mother was Unknown.  His paternal grandparents were Thomas West and Elizabeth Sankey. He had five brothers and a sister, named Robert, Nathaniel, Francis, John, Francis and Joan.  He was the third oldest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 76 in 1703.¹
