William Stolp 
William was born on December 17th, 1783 in Claverack, Columbia, NY.1 William's father was Johannes Pieter Stolp and his mother was Catrina Chrysler. His paternal grandparents were Johann Jost Stolp and Maria Sydonia; his maternal grandparents were Wilhemus Chrysler and Catherine Schauer. He had six brothers and a sister, named George, John, Frederick, Abram, Peter, Joseph Jost and Elizabeth. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children.-
