Elizabeth was born on October 16th, 1788 in Claverack, Columbia, NY.1 Elizabeth's father was Johannes Pieter Stolp and her mother was Catrina Chrysler. Her paternal grandparents were Johann Jost Stolp and Maria Sydonia; her maternal grandparents were Wilhemus Chrysler and Catherine Schauer. She had seven brothers named George, John, Frederick, William, Abram, Peter and Joseph Jost. She was the third youngest of the eight children.-
