Abigail Sisson 
Abigail was born on July 3rd, 1804 in Tiverton, Newport, RI.1 Abigail's father was Philip Sisson and her mother was Susannah Bowen. Her paternal grandparents were Philip Sisson and Elizabeth Wilbur; her maternal grandparents were Nathan Bowen and Hannah Cook. She had seven brothers and eight sisters, named Thomas, Abraham, Nathan, Cook, Henry Wilbur, Philip, Allen Shephard, Elizabeth, Hannah, Holder, Susan, Lydia, Pamelia, Clarry and Phebe. She was the sixth youngest of the sixteen children. She died at the age of 89 on November 26th, 1893 in Willseyville, Tioga NY. She was buried in Kings Cemetery.1 1 General Notes

At age 10 or 12 in Indiana, Abigail Sisson cared for the family during an
epidemic. After Jacob Lyon's, her husband's death, Abigail (Sisson) Lyon
went to Flint, Michigan, to live with her son James, then returned east
to live with he daughters Mary and Ann. She is buried in Kings Cemetery.

lived in Ithaca, Tompkins County, New York, at the time that her father
Philip Sisson, Jr's, estate was being administered in 1833 and 1834.
