Benjamin E was born in 1786 in Masontown, Fayette, PA.1 Benjamin E's father was Joseph Yard Province and his mother was Elizabeth Casto. His paternal grandparents were John William Province and Sarah Yard; his maternal grandparents were David Casto and Phoebe Gandy. He had nine brothers and seven sisters, named John William, David, Joseph, Samuel, Thomas, Jesse, Simeon, Uriah, Elisha, Sarah, Elizabeth, Lydia, Patience, Jane, Phoebe and Mary Ann. He had three half-brothers and four half-sisters, named B Franklin, Thearon, Joseph M, Selina, Uanna, Rachel and Agnes. He died at the age of 28 in 1814 in , Harrison, WV.1 -
