George IV Hanover was born on August 12th, 1762 in London, England. George IV Hanover's father was George III Hanover King of England and his mother was Sophia Charlotte von Mecklenburg-Strelitz. His paternal grandparents were Frederick Louis Hanover Prince-Wales and Augusta of Saxe-Gotha-Altenberg. He had seven brothers and five sisters, named Frederick Hanover, William IV Henry Hanover, Edward Augustus Hanover, Ernest Augustus Hanover, Adolphus, Alfred, Octavius, Charlotte Augusta Matilda, Amelia, Elizabeth, Mary and Sophia. He died at the age of 67 on June 26th, 1830 in Windsor Castle, Windsor, Berkshire, England.General Notes
