Loretta Helen was born on February 23rd, 1893 in Neche, Pembina, ND. Loretta Helen's father was William John Irvine and her mother was Augusta Anna Demorest. Her paternal grandparents were David Irvine and Sarah Beggs; her maternal grandparents were Unknown Demorest and Martha McCarl. She had three brothers and four sisters, named William Arthur, Thomas David, Orland Earl, Sarah Elizabeth, Muzzetta Luella, Ina Ivadelle and Verle LaVerne. She was the third oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 92 on September 3rd, 1985 in Portland, Clackamas, OR.-
