Shepherd Miles Gandy 
Shepherd Miles was born on March 20th, 1819 in , Clark, OH.1 Shepherd Miles' father was Abijah Gandy and his mother was Rebecca Harris. His paternal grandparents were Henry Harris Gandy and Tamson Garrison; his maternal grandparents were Unknown Harris and Sarah Unknown. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Isaac F, Jacob, Henry H, Andrew, Elisha, George Washington, Achsah, Elma, Keziah and Sarah. He was the fifth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 63 on August 21st, 1882 in Riverton, Cherokee, KS.1 -
