Francis Marion Gandy 
Francis Marion was born on June 27th, 1845 in Cortland, DeKalb, IL.1 Francis Marion's father was Henry H Gandy and his mother was Lucinda Meacham. His paternal grandparents were Henry Harris Gandy and Sally Harris; his maternal grandparents were Joseph Meacham and Elizabeth Stansborough Snow. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Joseph, Marcus, Andrew J, Julia A, Jerusha L and Matilda Jane. He was the second youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 90 on August 7th, 1935 in Maple Park, DeKalb, IL. He was buried in 1935 in Ohio Grove Cemetery, Cortland, IL.1 1 -
