Waleran de Newberg was born in 1140 in of Warwick, Warwickshire, England.1 Waleran de Newberg's father was Roger de Newberg Earl of Warwick and his mother was Gundred de Warenne. His paternal grandparents were Henri de Newberg Earl of Warwick and Marguerite de Perche; his maternal grandparents were William de Warenne II Earl of Warren & Surrey and Isabella Capet de Crépi. He had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named Gilbert, Waleran, Hugh and Avice. He died at the age of 64 on December 12th, 1204 in England.1 -
