Henry I the Quarrelsome was born in 0918.1 Henry I the Quarrelsome's father was Henry I the Fowler Holy Roman Emp and his mother was St. Matilda von Ringelheim. His paternal grandparents were Otto the Illustrious of Saxony Duke of Saxony and Hedwige of Germany; his maternal grandparents were Theudebert (Dietrich) of Saxony Duke of Saxony and Ludmilla Ragnhildis von Friesland. He had a brother and two sisters, named Otto I the Great, Hadwig and Gerberge of Saxony. He died at the age of 37 in 0955.1 -
