Lavinia Dewey 
Lavinia was born on November 8th, 1808. Lavinia's father was Gideon Dewey and her mother was Eunice Hawley. Her paternal grandparents were Moses Dewey and Sarah Dewey. She had two brothers and a sister, named Miles Sheldon, Sylvester B and Birdsey. She was the second youngest of the four children. She had four half-brothers and a half-sister, named Solomon, William, Gideon, David McNair and Betsey.-
