David McNair Dewey 
David McNair was born on December 15th, 1797.1 David McNair's father was Gideon Dewey and his mother was Joanna Allen. His paternal grandparents were Moses Dewey and Sarah Dewey; his maternal grandparents were David Allen and Joanna Severance. He had three brothers and a sister, named Solomon, William, Gideon and Betsey. He was the second youngest of the five children. He had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Miles Sheldon, Sylvester B, Birdsey and Lavinia. He died at the age of 76 on November 14th, 1874 in , Erie, PA.1 -
